From the beginning, Teen Challenge has operated under the concept that a person with life-controlling problems can change, IF that person wants to change. Teen Challenge of the Dakotas offers a residential program for adult males 18 years and older. The 16-month program consists of 5 phases of induction, training and Re-Entry. The first 10 months include the 4 phases of Induction and training. The fifth and final phase of Re-Entry is 6 months in length and consists of further discipleship and assitance in transititioning back into "the real world." TCD is overseen by a Board of Directors, an Executive Director and a loving staff. Many of our students come from broken homes; and several have been involved with gangs and criminal activity.
